7 Indigent Settler Families Receive Livelihood Aid Under Bangsamoro Sagip Kabuhayan

Seven indigent settler families in Ceceived ₱15,000 each under the Bangsamoro Sagip Kabuhayan (BSK) Program, a livelihood assistance initiative funded through the Transitional Development Impact Fund (TDIF) 2024 of MP Dr. Susana Salvador Anayatin, in partnership with the Ministry of Social Services and Development (MSSD).

The distribution was led by BTA staff Jane U. Abdul, Supervising Political Affairs Officer under MP Anayatin’s office, and conducted in coordination with MSSD, which is headed by Minister Atty. Raissa Jajurie.

MP Dr. Anayatin, who serves as the Executive Director of the Office for Settler Communities (OSC), continues to advocate for the welfare of settler communities within the Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao (BARMM) by ensuring they receive meaningful support for economic empowerment.

The MSSD, as BARMM’s social welfare ministry, plays a key role in providing assistance to vulnerable communities, aligning with the regional government’s broader efforts to promote inclusive development. The BSK Program aims to uplift indigent families by providing financial aid to help them start small businesses or improve their means of livelihood.

This initiative reflects the ongoing commitment of BARMM leaders to foster sustainable development and economic stability for all communities within the region.
